Important Dates

January 31:

Copy of Form 1099 and W2 must be sent to recipient and Forms 941,944, RT-6 due to IRS

February 28:

W3, W2, and Forms 1096 and 1099 must be sent to IRS *March 31st if filed electronically*

March 15:

Forms 1120 and 1120S due to IRS

March 31:

Forms 941 and RT-6 due to IRS

April 18:

Forms 1040 and 1065 due to IRS

May 15:

July 31:

August 15:

Fiscal Year Filers

Form 1120, 1120S:

A corporation must file its income tax return by the 15th day of the 3rd month after the end of its tax year.

Form 1065:

A domestic partnership must file by the 15th day of the 4th month following the date its tax year ended as shown at the top of form 1065.

Form 990:

A corporation must file by the 15th day of the 5th month after the organization’s accounting period ends.
